Biografia

I have been photographing, printing, curating, and traveling through photography for over thirty years.
I am the Head of Education and Academic Director at the Centro Sperimentale di Fotografia Adams (CSF Adams), where I teach in the Master’s programs in General Photography and Reportage. Driven by my strong commitment to analog photography, I also lead courses in Historical Printing Techniques and Darkroom Practice.

I have presented numerous exhibitions. Among the most significant are:
“Metropolitan Solo – Neighborhood Commuters after September 11”, exhibited in 2004 during the Italian Culture Week at Peking University;
“Places of Memory – Tribute to Pier Paolo Pasolini”, presented at the Festival Internazionale di Fotografia Roma in 2006.

From 2008 to 2018, I curated and organized cascinafarsettiArt – photography and beyond, a festival promoted by CSF Adams and held in the evocative setting of Villa Pamphili Park in Rome.

In 2012/2013, together with CSF Adams students, I developed a project for the participatory art event “Rebirth – Day | The Day of Rebirth”, curated by Michelangelo Pistoletto.

I actively support emerging photographers who have distinguished themselves through talent and dedication, curating exhibitions and projects for them and offering artistic residencies at CSF Adams to foster young creativity.

Since 2016, I have been exhibiting and curating at the Prague Photo festival.

I am the founder and curator of Kromartgallery at CSF Adams.

In 2018, I participated in CastelnuovoFotografia with the project “Robaccia”.

In 2019, I presented my first solo exhibition abroad, showing part of the project “Pas de Deux” at PH21 Gallery in Budapest.

From October 2021 to 2024, I served as photo editor for the Daily Pic column of reWriter.

In 2023, I was among the founders of the first edition of Cosmo Photo Fest.

In 2025/2026, I exhibited the project “Pas de Deux”, featuring original analog prints, at the gallery Z.ema.
